Wheel Strip – Heavy-Duty Liquid Powder Coat & Paint Stripper
Introducing Wheel Strip, Powder Strip’s most powerful liquid paint and powder coat remover. Formulated with methylene chloride and acid additives, this blend is the ultimate solution for rapid stripping in dip tank systems — perfect for the toughest coatings on European wheels.
Containing methylene chloride and hydrofluoric acid, this is our strongest and fastest-acting formula, engineered to remove fusion-bonded epoxy finishes (such as on BMW wheels). Compatible with steel and aluminum, but not recommended for magnesium.
⚠️ Note: Wheel Strip does not remove chrome or nickel plating.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many wheels can I strip with one drum?
A 55-gallon drum strips approximately 100 wheels (≈500 sq. ft.). Proper maintenance helps maximize performance.
What materials can Wheel Strip be used on?
Compatible with steel and aluminum. Not recommended for magnesium, fiberglass, or wood.
What is the strip time?
Typically 10–30 minutes at room temperature.
Does Wheel Strip need to be heated?
No — it is designed to work at room temperature for fast, effective stripping.
What type of dip tank should I use?
Use stainless steel or polyethylene tanks and always keep a lid on to reduce evaporation.
How do I neutralize parts after stripping?
Rinse thoroughly with water or use an alkaline pH rinse tank (pH 7–9) maintained with TSP or baking soda.
What is the shelf life?
Wheel Strip has a 2-year shelf life and remains effective even after freezing. (Freezing may cause separation — just re-mix before use.)
Why Choose Wheel Strip?
- Fastest-acting stripper available for tough coatings
- Engineered for European wheels (BMW, etc.)
